QA is excited to announce the launch of a new Higher Apprenticeship programme. The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Specialist programme has been designed by QA and will be a mix of work-based learning and real-time online delivery.
The programme will provide learners with an insight into data science and machine learning principles. Apprentices will learn how to independently analyse test data and interpret results. They also will be equipped with practical problem-solving skills, a trait highly sought after by employers.
Artificial Intelligence solutions are continuing to become more engrained in our lives, from recruiters using AI to initially pre-screen hundreds of CVs, to “Watch next” Netflix suggestions, generated by gathering users’ data on their previously watched programmes. The job market is already reflecting those trends, with the number of new available vacancies in AI growing year-on-year and Machine Learning raking first on the “Top-30 Co-occurring IT Skills” table (itjobswatch.co.uk).
The AI Data Specialist Higher Apprenticeship programme aims to provide learners with the knowledge of how to design and deploy effective techniques of data analysis and research to meet the needs of the business and customers. Apprentices will gain a good understanding of high-performance computer architectures and will learn how to make effective use of those.
Throughout the duration of the programme, learners will be supported by an individual Skills Coach as well as our ACE (Academic Community of Excellence) Team.
The programme will run across multiple intakes throughout the year (October, January, April and July), starting this April.
