QA is delighted to announce an exciting new addition to our growing portfolio of Degree Apprenticeship programmes. In partnership with Northumbria University, we now offer BSc (Hons) Digital User Experience programme.
As more of our day-to-day activities move online (a process accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic), it becomes increasingly important for businesses to ensure the online experiences they offer their audiences reign supreme. This trend is already reflected on the job market, with approximately 5% of all permanent jobs currently advertised in IT having a prevalent requirement for User Experience (UX).
This programme equips learners with knowledge and skills for continuous employability within the growing UX design field. Learners will study subjects such as Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), interface technologies, UX testing, digital strategy and user psychology. Combining part-time study at the university with work-based learning provides learners with the right skill set and accelerates their careers.
Throughout the programme, learners are supported by an individual Skills Coach, who helps with applying learning to the workplace. Our Academic of Excellence (ACE) Team is also available to help on academic matters outside of the classroom.
The next intake for this programme is April, with further intakes in July, October and January.
