Following the successful launch of the QA-authored AI Data Specialist Higher Apprenticeship, we are thrilled to announce another addition to the QA Higher Apprenticeship programme portfolio, a Level 7 Senior Leader Higher Apprenticeship.
This programme has been designed to support those in managerial or leadership roles in further developing their existing knowledge and skills within the dynamic, organisational landscape.
With only 14% of CEOs believing they have the leadership talent they need to grow their businesses, there are plenty of opportunities for future leaders.
Senior Leaders play a key role in all types of businesses where there is a workforce to lead, manage and support. A Senior Leader influences at the higher organisational level and sets the culture and tone across their area of responsibility. Externally, a Senior Leader acts as an ambassador for their organisation with wide-ranging networks typically involving clients, supply chains and statutory non-regulatory bodies.
Learners on this programme will explore key concepts of organisational strategies and gain crucial knowledge on how to shape organisational missions, cultures and values.
As Senior Leaders they will lead change in their area of responsibility; creating an environment for innovation and creativity, establishing the value of ideas, implementing initiatives, and driving continuous improvement.
Peter Bull, Dean of Faculty, commented on the launch: “It is crucial that the leaders of the future are equipped with the necessary skills they will need in their future senior management responsibilities. Our delivery method allows for continuous learning and application of skills in a real-life, workplace environment, giving learners the opportunity to contextualise their study as they pursue their career in leadership and management”
As with our other Higher Apprenticeship programmes, learners on this programme will benefit from the ability to apply knowledge into real-life, workplace scenarios and test all theories in practice. Throughout the programme our dedicated skills coaches, ACE Team and workplace mentors will provide vital support to learners.
We’re looking forward to the first group of learners joining the programme in July 2021.
