QA Higher Education and Ulster University are delighted to announce the launch of Advanced Practice versions of our existing Pre-Masters and Masters degrees.

The Advanced Practice element allows student to gain real world experience as part of their Masters programme through either an internship or applied consulting project. Students will undertake the Advanced Practice in their penultimate semester, before completing the programme in the final semester. This structure allows students to reflect on their internship or project during their final dissertation or project.

As well as being available to students as a normal Masters with standard entry requirements and lasting 21 months, the Advanced Practice is also available to those at a Pre-Masters entry point through our existing Extended Masters programmes, and will last for 24 months.

Employers are always seeking relevant work experience alongside educational qualifications, and with the Advanced Practice element students get just that, gaining valuable practical experience of real world issues faced by industry today. It’s an excellent way to put learning into practice and will boost students employability.

Commenting on the launch, Nick Miller, Marketing & Recruitment Director at QA Higher Education, said “we’re delighted to launch these new programmes with Ulster University and for them to be available to students in Birmingham and London. Students are demanding postgraduate study options over two years with work placements and work experience in their study programme. We see these programmes as a strong response to this market demand.”

Launching this September, we are excited to announce the following programmes:
