Students studying one of the Northumbria University Pathway programmes will be taught at the University’s City Campus in Newcastle, regularly voted one of the top student cities in the UK.
With its award-winning architecture, modern teaching facilities and impressive sports facilities, the Campus creates an environment that encourages self-development and learning. This is where many university activities take place creating a vibrant student atmosphere and where students can find the main library, high-tech labs, Students’ Union, state-of-the-art sports facilities and much more.
The Campus is also conveniently located a short walk from the centre of Newcastle, a city with a reputation for being both one of the friendliest and liveliest cities in the UK. Not only is the city full of attractions, sporting facilities, shops and places to eat, but it’s also a great base for exploring more of the North East of the UK with a variety of transport links.
These International Foundation Programmes are specifically designed to help students develop the academic and language skills required for successful progression on to their chosen undergraduate degree with the university. Students study a mix of language, and subject specific modules as they are introduced to life at a UK university, and learn in fully embedded campus facilities.
For students who need additional support to meet the entry requirements for postgraduate study, the Graduate Certificates and Extended Masters below are designed to bridge this gap. Upon successfully passing the course, students will be eligible to progress on to Masters-level study at the University.
QA are excited to announce the launch of a fully online English preparation course that will allow progression onto foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate level programmes with our university partners.
Whilst we have temporarily closed our buildings following the UK Government’s implementation of social distancing and travel restrictions as part of the response to Covid-19, we’ve not let that stop us delivering teaching and support to our students.
