QA Higher Education is thrilled to announce the launch of new postgraduate and pre-masters programmes at the Northumbria University London Campus. We now offer:

  • MSc Artificial Intelligence Technology
  • MSc Big Data and Data Science Technology
  • MSc Technology for Sustainable Cities
  • Graduate Certificate in Computing and Technology

These programmes have been created in response to the rising demand for IT professionals, particularly those who are specialised in data analysis, machine learning, programming, artificial intelligence and the use of IT in planning sustainable solutions.

Information Technology as a field embraces a vast array of technologies and solutions from hardware and operating systems to application software and data analysis. These developments are complex, and as a result, it has become apparent that greater specialisation, with new roles and responsibilities, within the IT workforce across all sectors and industries are needed to help organisations fulfil their potential in the digital revolution.

These new programmes have been designed to enable students to develop in-depth technical knowledge in their specialist field of study, investigating big data, artificial intelligence and sustainable solutions technologies using specialist tools and software.

As part of the London Campus, Postgraduate Computing Framework, students build core competencies in digital leadership, research methods and information governance as they prepare for fulfilling careers in exciting and emerging technologies.

Each postgraduate programme will be available with an Advanced Practice option, allowing students to put learning into practice and enhance their CV through the opportunity to secure a work placement, complete a group consultancy based or work with a research team on a research project as part of their degree.

The Graduate Certificate in Computing and Technology will help bridge the gap for students who require extra support to meet the entry requirements to study for a postgraduate computing degree at the London Campus.

All programmes start in September 2021 and will be available at the Northumbria University London Campus.
