This July, QA Higher Education and Solent University are expanding their partnership with a new Degree Apprenticeship programme. The BA (Hons) Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship is awarded by Solent University and delivered by QA Higher Education.
The Solent University and QA Higher Education partnership started in 2018, initially offering pathway programmes. Following this success, the portfolio expanded to undergraduate programmes offered at central locations in London, Birmingham and Manchester.
On the BA Digital Marketing programme, learners will gain knowledge about the implementation of various marketing strategies and learn how to manage digital marketing projects.
Apprentices will have a good grasp of graphic design and an understanding of the importance of product descriptions, site layout and images to website visibility.
As about 80% of organisations stepped up their digital transformation plans in 2020, eCommerce and digital marketing skills are becoming increasingly relevant. Equipped with the most up-to-date marketing knowledge, backed by real-life, workplace experience, learners will be adding value to their organisation throughout their apprenticeship and beyond.
As this is an integrated degree programme, upon successful completion of the programme and passing the End Point Assessment, learners will be awarded an apprenticeship certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing from Solent University.
Apprentices will also be eligible to apply for professional registration at associate grade for the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Institute of Direct & Digital Marketing, and BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, who will also recognise this apprenticeship for entry onto the register of IT technicians confirming SFIA level 3 professional competence.
