In early July, QA Higher Education had the honour of participating in the BUILA Conference 2024, one of the UK’s leading events for university leaders in International Education. This year’s conference tackled critical issues in international student recruitment, focusing on perception and reputation. Key discussions revolved around strategies for higher education institutions to stay resilient amid political uncertainty and negative narratives.

To explore these trends and topics, we invited industry experts in international recruitment to demystify public-private partnerships. The engaging panel session featured international recruitment and marketing experts from Northumbria University, the University of South Wales, and Solent University, who shared valuable insights into innovative collaborations.
