John has a Doctorate in Education and has been the Senior Dean of Faculty at QA Higher Education since 2017. Prior to this he was Associate Dean for a number of years at Hult International Business School and Kaplan Holborn College, with his career before that being Programme Management roles in a number of higher education (HE) and further education (FE) institutions after graduation. Along with the Doctorate in Education from the Institute of Education at UCL, John also holds an undergraduate degree from the University of West London, a PGCE from Greenwich University, an MA from Middlesex University and an MSc from Kings College London. As part of his doctorate, John engaged in academic research focusing on international students and assessed group work.
At QA Higher Education, John has responsibility for the academic faculty across the Business, Computing, Health & Social Care and English programmes at our Rosebery Avenue (London), Birmingham and Manchester campuses. This involves working closely with the Academic teams, our Academic Quality department and of course our university partners.
John teaches subjects in the Human Resource Management area of Business and Management although much of his current role is centred on academic management rather than teaching.
