Tim is the Provost and Executive Dean at QA Higher Education, having joined as Executive Dean in 2014. Prior to this he was Executive Dean for a number of years at Kaplan Holborn College and before that he held a number of Programme Director roles. He holds an undergraduate degree from Oxford and a PhD from Cambridge.
Tim has a broad portfolio of responsibilities. As well as leading the academic team across both QA Higher Education’s own campuses and its pathway centres, he is also responsible for the operation of the Registry function and the English Language Testing Team. The Director of Quality Assurance as well as the Director of Digital Development also report into him.
Tim manages the academic relationship with QA Higher Education’s university partners as well as contributing to the organisational strategy and the development of the course portfolio.
Tim still has a keen interest in learning and teaching and until recently continued to teach and supervise at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
