In October 2018, the British Council inspected and accredited QA Higher Education’s London courses in academic English for adults. This accreditation covers the International Foundation Programmes and Pre-Sessional English at the University of Roehampton Pathway and the Pre-Sessional English programme delivered through Northumbria University London Campus.
The Accreditation Scheme assesses the standards of management, resources and premises, teaching, welfare, and safeguarding under 18s and accredits organisations which meet the overall standard in each area inspected.
The final inspection report stated that QA Higher Education met the standards of the Scheme and noted strengths in areas of:
- Staff management
- Premises and facilities
- Learning resources
- Academic staff profile
- Academic management
- Course design and teaching
