QA are pleased to announce the addition of an undergraduate Computing offering with Solent University. From January 2020, we will be offering students at our London Centre the option to study BSc Computing or BSc Computing with Foundation Year, depending on their existing qualifications.
On this programme, students will develop expertise in computing systems with a focus on programming whilst nurturing skills in emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), cyber security and cloud computing.
The digital revolution is well underway and technologies are rapidly transforming the way organisations are run. As well as the need for technical expertise, which this course develops, organisations need expert computing professionals who can apply the human touch in their solutions and projects whilst demonstrating commercial awareness.
As such, the BSc Computing nurtures skills in communication, project management and teamwork through its teaching methods whilst study units integrate usability assessments throughout.
Commenting on the launch, Marketing & Recruitment Director Nick Miller said “QA’s fantastic we’re now able to offer a BSc Computing from Solent to students in London. Solent’s industry focus is an obvious benefit for our students who can develop their computing expertise and employability. The technical aspects develop the fundamental computing knowledge whilst specialist units cover new and important technologies that respond to industry needs. This is a welcome addition to our Solent Centres partnership and we look forward to welcoming our first cohort.
The BSc Computing and BSc Computing with Foundation Year are available in London and will start in January 2020. Please visit the links to the course pages below:
